As one of the programs of Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy, the multiparty youth group for peace and enhancing the youth participating in the peace process, paid a visit to the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement-Signatories, Ethnic Armed Organization Office at the afternoon of 4th April.
The youth group was warmly welcomed by U Naw Aung, the Chief Operating Officer and the COO himself explained the youth group about how NCA-S EAO and it office occurred, what is PPST, the highest decision making body of NCA-S EAO, and what is PPWT, peace process working team and the NCA-S EAO’s undertakings for peace process. And then the youth group asked what they wanted to know more or something unclear about NCA-S EAO and the peace process, undertaken by it. The COO, the senior officers from PDD and CMU respectively answered the questions of the youth group.
After that, the youth group looked around the departments of the office and was taken the group photo together with the responsible people of the NCA-S EAO office.
